Hotel Sonnenberg

Fab central location, outdoor restaurant, INCREDIBLY GRACIOUS staff and contemporary decor. It was centrally located. Extra large beds, terrace, large windows and power sockets were a nice touch. Very clean plunge pool was available too.

Best possible location for visiting Grindelwald, it's not far from the train station and the village below and ski bus.

We liked the hotel, it was traditional and had beautiful location close enough to shops and ski bus. The food was delicious, they served slices of fresh bread, pastries, cereal and cheese. In general the staff were incredible and sympathetic.

Cool staff and location, I also appreciated a pool. The bed was fine and it was great having Wi-Fi, balcony and fridge. Lovely interior, nice restaurant. I had very positive days staying at this pet-friendly hotel: )

cute and impeccably clean place, everything was fantastic. i had breathtaking superior room with wonderful views, ample space and balcony too. the hotel had helpful staff members. slices of fresh bread, meats, eggs, cereal and cheese were good and overall there was a lot of food.

I appreciated this hotel, it was exceptionally clean and special. The atmosphere created here was welcoming. Worth every penny view, a beautiful balcony, comfy bed, too. Plus, it was walk from a train station and the rooms were absolutely brilliant and relaxing.

Great location, ATTENTIVE personnel and nice breakfast. Enjoyed that we had an individual safe, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a work desk in the twin room. Moreover, free Wi Fi was a nice addition. Easy base for exploring Grindelwald.

Staff is friendly and the location is wonderful. The large room with the small balcony. Good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like Barry's that was only 5 minutes' walk away. It was a lovely experience.

One of the dining options, Restaurant Pfingstegg was 5 mins walk away. The hotel's position was great. The balcony was a wonderful addition to the room.
